Job discription
Manage purchasing and material Transportation and Logistics replenishment for raw material.
Research new suppliers for raw material.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with new and old suppliers
Generate purchase orders.
Work with suppliers to ensure consistency of liner material specs and delivery objectives.
Maintain price and material specs up to date purchasing programs (Macola, SAP, etc).
Raw material communication for Liners:
Analyze material levels.
Follow up with suppliers until material is received.
Generate material alerts or inventory communication.
Updates on low inventory, FoxPro and material alerts.
Quality issues
Collaborate with production, Merlin QA Manager, and suppliers to meet Merlin specifications.
Vendors Fault Material Waste log.
Analyzes waste documentation for inventory impact, quality deficiencies and improvements.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities:
Production reports when requested:
Print, enter / analyze data and/or create charts.
Collaborate daily/weekly with all staff members providing office supplies or PPE equipment.
PVC Vinyl Scrap work orders and invoice.
If needed:
Support in shipping procedures.
Support receiving procedures.
Support in urgent requests form LIP
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
