Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems via phone, email, or in-person visits
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and permissions adjustments
  • Document issues, resolutions, and maintain accurate records of IT support activities
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement improvements in IT processes and infrastructure
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates on computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
  • Train users on basic IT tools and best practices to improve technological proficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Familiarity with common software applications such as Microsoft Office and antivirus tools
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
