The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the full Lead Net New lifecycle from Lead Identification to Lead Conversion. As an Inside Sales Representative you will proactively generate net new business opportunities for Excellis and develop the skills and experience to advance through our Sales and Business Development organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet and/or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets for several key metrics including outreach, contacts and accounts targeted, discovery calls, and converted leads.
Work within an assigned territory and target market to qualify, develop, and mature net new as well as marketing provided leads, resulting in a highly qualified new business opportunity.
Qualify sales leads from marketing efforts including website, events, and webinars.
Manage the Lead through the multiple stages of the Lead Net New lifecycle including Identify, Chasing, Engage, Decision, Hold, Cold, and Converted.
Uncover needs at different levels and across different teams of an organization to match with Excellis services and solutions.
Perform research on companies and contacts as a component of lead generation and qualification
Develop concise and detailed summaries of qualified leads focused on understanding the prospectÆs use case, needs, and pain points.
Update SalesForce with notes from all prospect engagement.
Attend and participate in weekly Inside Sales team meeting.
Provide feedback and areas of improvement to leadership to effectively generate new business opportunities more efficiently.
Key metrics include company profiling, Lead Identify to Conversion, Converted Lead to Closed / Won New Business, and other daily/weekly/monthly metrics.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
BachelorÆs degree in a business, marketing, or supply chain related focus
Knowledge of the Life ScienceÆs Industry, specifically focused on Supply Chain
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
Desire to learn and grow within a Business Development organization
Preferred Skills and qualifications:
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), SalesForce is a plus
Previous experience providing Project Management or Selling to the Life ScienceÆs Industry
Past work experience as an Inside Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, or Sales Development Representative
