Description: St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to join our team!
The environmental service technician promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors. Similar duties may also extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Centers premises.
Schedule: Full-time/Days**
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30 pm.
**Flexibility to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Environmental Services Associate
Demonstrates knowledge of department policies and procedures.
Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
Performs all cleaning andproject assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
Maintains high standards; works steadily at efficient pace; achieves high QA score.
Interacts hospitably, cheerfully and supportively with staff, patients, visitors and work colleagues.
Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition. Respects Hospital and Company property.
Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
Qualifications
HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
