Job Summary

Commercial Litigation Legal Secretary for a large well established Burlington County firm.

Salary between $20-$30/hr. depending on experience. 3 5 years of experience as a legal secretary is required.

Requirements

Previous experience with a case or document management system a PLUS

Must be able to handle multiple priorities, multi-task with a strong attention to detail, adapt to changing environment.

High degree of discretion and professionalism
Excellent VERBAL communication
Ability to work well individually without attorney assistance

Duties include:

1. Opening and scanning mail into case management system

2. Docketing/diarying motion dates, discovery end dates

3. Preparing letters

4. e-filing (along with sending courtesy copy to Judge)

5. ECF notices (opening, printing, docketing/diarying, attaching to case management system)

6. Scheduling depositions (schedule the dep with related parties, obtaining a court reporter, scheduling a conference room, confirming with all parties)

7. Sending out outgoing mail (scanning if necessary, making copies, etc.)

8. Opening new files (in both accounting system and case management system) along with creating the physical file

9. Paying invoices (preparing check requests and sending out check)

10. Preparing legal documents (motions, etc.) for attorney review and completion

11. Sending out invoices for legal services to our clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
