Warehouse Manager oversees Manages and coordinates all warehouse activities include monitoring workflow to ensure they are shipped out in a timely manner, inventory of all equipment and supplies, content storage and general cleanliness. The ideal candidate must have some management experience and be knowledgeable about inventory control, packing, picking, dispatching, security, maintenance, shipping, receiving and administrative activities. The duties include preparing schedules for warehouse associates, train, evaluate and reward new employees on how to use machinery and monitoring compliance with safety standards.
To ensure success, the Warehouse Manager needs to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform his/her duties in an efficient and profitable manner. The Warehouse Manager must be dedicated, competent and have strong leadership skills. He/she must be detail-oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. He/she must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of millions of product orders every year.
Responsibilities:
· Performs quality control checks on job sites providing crew oversight
· Ensuring safety measures
· Work protocols are properly implemented and communicates any issues to upper management.
· Manages equipment usage, maintenance and procurement
· Ensures company policies, procedures and expectations are communicated and enforced to hourly employees and temporary workers
· Works with HR to address personnel and performance issues
· General Company safety advisor.
· Ensures general cleanliness of the building and its surrounding property
Qualifications:
· High school degree or equivalent
· Valid driver's license
· Able to pass background check
· Forklift Licenses is a plus
· Able to work in a fast-paced team environment; know how to prioritize and proceed tasks safely in warehouse.
· 3+ yrs experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees
· Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
· Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
· Ability to work with all levels of company staff
· Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
