Bookkeeper / Purchasing Assistant
Bookkeeper / Purchasing Assistant will handle all routine Accounting and Purchasing functions for a small manufacturing company.
Job duties will include:
Accounts Receivable: enter customer invoices, post income, make deposits, handle collections, resolve routine issues.
Accounts Payable: enter vendor invoices, pay bills, manage cash flow, resolve routine issues.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements, balance multiple accounts.
Interface with Bank and Payroll company.
Tabulate and report Payroll.
Interface with Accountant and make routine journal entries.
Purchasing: generate purchase orders, interface with vendors, coordinate deliveries, resolve routine issues.
Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing.
Occasionally source new items and find new vendors.
Interface with Production to coordinate deliveries and verify receipts.
Tabulate inventory and update costs.
Maintain accurate records with great attention to detail.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Assist office supervisor and customer service coordinator with other general office duties as may be required.
Required Skills:
2+ Years in Bookkeeping, with minimum HS Degree
Some experience in Purchasing desired, or ability to learn
Excellent Attention to Details
Excellent basic Math skills
Excellent Organizational Skills
Good Verbal & Phone skills in English
Good E-Mail & Writing skills
Eager to Learn with a Positive Attitude
Reliable to be at work every day
Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel, Outlook, Word
Discretion to maintain confidential information

Must be Fully Vaccinated
