Position Overview




Join our team in Bordentown, New Jersey! We're located at 400 Bordentown-Hedding Rd. Bordentown, NJ 08505, off of Route US-206 N and down Dunns Mill Rd. We are a 1.3 million sq. ft. automated facility searching for experienced technicians.


Shift: Hiring for 2nd or 3rd shift

You Will




As an Electromechanical Tech III, your primary responsibilities are to complete preventative maintenance tasks and routine repairs on the automated material handling system components of the Distribution Center. You will report directly to your supervisor. The below responsibilities are required but not limited to:


Respond to all system issues involving conveyors, PIE, sortation and controls (EMS, WCS, Sort Director, EWM, Hardware, and Software)
Basic troubleshooting/diagnostics and demonstrated skills to repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of the conveyor system and building components, including: PLCs, DC drives, AC invertors, Linear motors, VFDs, Encoders, Scanners, Power distribution, communication systems, computer controlled building systems, conveyor systems and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Operate on all material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution Center.
Work at heights and in unusual positions.
Grasp, bend and lift up to 75 pounds when applicable.
Must be available for 24-hour on-call rotation.
Knowledge and application of safe work practices, LOTO standards and Arc Flash.
Experience using electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and gauges.
Experience with reading and interpreting MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) drawings and schematics.
High level of knowledge of codes such as the NEC, BOCA and UBC, MSDS and OSHA






You Have




Qualifications




High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of building and equipment maintenance experience with two years maintaining Dematic or similar type conveyor systems.
Familiarity with common Microsoft Suite products.
Have skills to become subject matter expert for conveyors, crossbelt system, Dematic Multi-Shuttle System/Goods to Person System.
Design, implement, and document PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley) programming changes to automated equipment when authorized.
Experience with power distribution, power generation, and control circuits.
Troubleshoot, and implement changes to I/O device networks such as Profibus, Data Highway, and CanBus.
The physical requirements for this position include frequently lifting, pushing, and sliding packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may have to occasionally lift up to 75lbs.
Use computers/computer-based monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems and building automation systems.
2+ years of experience with thermal imaging equipment to detect early failure(s) of both mechanical and electrical equipment.
Experienced with AC drives (set-up, programming, faults).
Gain further education in the following areas: Electrical controls, PLC troubleshooting, PIE, building management and multiple other systems.
Successful completion of Maintenance skills evaluation.
