Full time Driver for Residential and One Armed Truck Routes
POSITION SUMMARY:
A Residential Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a rear-loading truck with an assigned helper providing prompt and courteous services for all customers on a designated route.
One Armed Truck is an automated refuse collection truck that has the capacity of auto-loading garbage totes. The truck driver can then safely pick-up and place back the container in the same location.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: **
* Safely operate his or her truck along designated routes as required. Must be able to utilize company assigned tablet for mapping and customer routing as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
* Operate automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures
* Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
* Follow route daily on tablets as required
* Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
* Review at 90 days
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: **
* Experience on a residential route.
QUALIFICATIONS: **
* Class B with air brakes endorsement
* Must be able to exert physical effort and assist helper on occasion by pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
