Our day shift Fulfillment Team is looking to hire or promote an Inventory Specialist to assist in the daily operations of the Shipping and Receiving Department. The Inventory Specialist will own all things related to cycle count and inventory communications. The role will function in close proximity to our Receiver and will occasionally collaborate with S+R Associates to pull and ship orders.

Hours : 7am - 3:30pm Hourly Rate: $19.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Other duties may be assigned

Accurately count all "wet" product within our Tioga St. facility
Send "Back in stock" emails and update backorder sheets when applicable.
Track Inventory for any materials and supplies needed in the warehouse. Collaborate with the Receiver to order any supplies needed in a timely manner.
Count all PODS, Filters, Teas on weekly basis.
Cycle count SKUs daily to help decrease "Out of Stock" items.
Capture inventory adjustments needed to reflect accurate inventory levels
Complete monthly waste reports for the Tioga St. facility.
Count raw materials needed in production on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with and occasionally cover for Receiving Clerk when needed.
Assist the fulfillment team in picking, packing and checking orders when necessary.
Work with production to ensure timely fulfillment of workshop coffee as needed for order demand.
Own inventory counts for parts and internal orders.
Participate in periodic inventory counts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, year end).
Send inventory related communications to all appropriate parties and cross functional teams

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

High school diploma or GED preferred


2-3 years of warehouse/ S+R experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills
Knowledge of GMP, food plant operations and safety.
Ability to operate a manual and automatic pallet jack.
Experience operating a sitdown forklift preferred but not required.


Physical Requirements :

Ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over, etc.


Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small objects, boxes, etc.
Be physically active for 8 hours without becoming fatigued or out of breath.
Stand for 8 hours a day.
Frequently lift and or move 40+ pounds
Occasionally lift and or move 75+ pounds
Frequently push 300-400 lbs on a rolling cart, sometimes at an incline.
