Job Description:
Responsible for the day to day inventory management and receiving of product for high-volume retail. Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained, care of perishable product is properly executed, finished goods are received/stored properly, processed and made ready for sale in a timely manner. Ensures all cannabis products meet or exceed state and local compliance standards. Any items that do not meet or exceed compliance standards are to be rejected, logged for vendor credit and moved to waste, or destroyed immediately.

Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Must be proficient in Excel/Google sheets
Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be efficient with strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks
Background with Inventory experience (Preferred)
Technical Capacity
Organizational Skills

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly, as required
Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment
Must be at least 21 years old
Requirements:
Reporting to the Manager, the Inventory Specialist conducts various daily operations functions within the inventory room
Understanding cannabis regulations relevant for receiving, storing, handling, and distributing each product, as well as all pertinent department functions
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all inventory areas
Assisting in inventory cycle counts and quarterly counts
Assisting in inventory receiving (intake)
Updating various spreadsheets and managing Inventory Systems
Moderate to occasional heavy lifting, including but not limited to assisting in the intake of product
Following all the protocol, procedures, and guidelines in place
Accurately building inventory cases
Available to answer any relevant inventory questions
Be able to successfully use Blaze/METRC to look up a batch, check the quantity, check the product history, check for additional batches and input information up to state standards
