Position Purpose:

The Senior Manager, Sourcing & Supplier Management will primarily be responsible for:


Sourcing:


Manage multiple category sourcing initiatives to achieve desired objectives of cost reduction, margin improvements and project execution.
Implement program transition and process improvements.


Supplier Management:


Create and manage the strategic roadmap with all key suppliers.
Monitor, analyze and evaluate supplier performance against metrics on a regular basis.
Work on continuous improvement programs in product enhancements, supplier performance, and project management


Primary Responsibilities:


Monitor, analyze, and evaluate supplier performance related to on-time delivery, accurate delivery, project handling, efficiency in product development and QA management, communication, and all related day-to-day activities.
Work on all sourcing initiatives for the reduction of CoGS across multiple categories. Initiate, manage and execute all sourcing projects with RFI/RFP/RFQ.
Serve as a liaison for internal customers (purchasing / forecasting/ planning team/ Corporate Accounts) for program transitions. Forecasting & onboarding of all supplier resources.
Support Global Sourcing for International offices (UK, HK, China, Canada, and Dubai) for their sourcing inquiries.


Education:


Bachelor's Degree is required
Certifications in supply chain related area is preferred


Experience:


8-10 years of experience in sourcing and supplier management
5 years of managerial experience preferred
Experience in handling multi-country and multi-category sourcing environment


Skills:


Strategic big-picture thinking and sourcing related to the hospitality and food service industry.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from suppliers, customers, management, and inter-department staff.
Capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner.
A mastery of organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities as necessary while managing large, complex projects, using time effectively and working independently.
Good listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Build amicable working relationships with internal business partners, vendors, and customers.
Respond promptly to requests for service and assistance and promptly follow up as needed.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, expertise in gathering and analyzing information skillfully while developing alternative solutions with strong negotiating skills.
Displays willingness to make timely decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
Approaches others in a tactful manner, reacts well under pressure, follows through on commitments.
Understand and execute all relevant policies and procedures in a consistent, timely and objective manner.
Strong understanding of financial concepts (including pricing and forecasting).
Proficient use of forecasting applications, and MS Windows and Office (Word-based modeling skills, Excel power user, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Outlook), Adobe Illustrator, and Database.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to peers in other functional areas.
Strong quantitative skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the U.S., Asia, South America & Europe.
