Our client in New Brunswick is in need of a shipping coordinator Responsible for working closely with the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee and ensure
the timely and proper shipping of all outgoing material and/or products.
Skills & Experience
Experience in Shipping/Receiving/Logistics
Experience communicating with cross-functional departments and customers; strong
communication skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Experience with Oracle is highly preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible and meet deadlines
Ability on daily basis to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
Knowledge of industry products and services a plus
Fluent in English written and oral skills required
Demonstrated Can-Do attitude, Customer Service Focus and Trustworthiness
Experience with lean/six sigma projects preferred
Daily communication with cross-functional departments regarding order statuses, order issues, and
support that might be needed to process orders. Internal customers include:
o Customer Service & Sales
o Supply Base (Purchasing)
o Compliance
o Quality & Technical Services
Process orders through UPS, FedEx, LTL for both small packages and bulk orders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
