Innophos is seeking an Indirect Senior Buyer for a role based in our Cranbury, NJ location. This role will be expected to support the Indirect Purchasing Director to optimize value through cost reduction, innovation, avoidance of supply disruption, risk mitigation and growth throughout supplier relationship life cycle.
This position is located at our corporate office in Cranbury, NJ and offers a hybrid schedule option of 3x/week in office and 2x/week remote.
Key Responsibilities

Support efforts to drive effective procurement of Services to our US/CAN sites.
Working together with stakeholders, including delivering value across the Indirect category
A very hands-on position that will require strong industry knowledge, excellent people and procurement skills, and an ability to improve processes on a continuous basis
Requires understanding of total Services plan, time of delivery, key stakeholders, priorities
Negotiate competitive costs of parts and services for global projects required by the sites. Ensure high quality service from vendors
Formulate and analyze bids, making recommendations based on commercial and market factors, complying with Innophos Procurement Procedures.
Responsible for developing and executing a procurement strategy for total US/CAN services spend.

Required Education and Experience

B.S. degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operation Research
Experience in manufacturing and MRO a plus
4 or more years of experience in global procurement roles

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Specialist knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities, and trends
Understanding of trade and regulatory requirements for international and domestic trade
Excellent negotiation skills with both large and small suppliers globally
Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills
Excellent mastery of Excel, Access, Word, and other MS Office applications
MRP/ERP experience, JDE E1 preferred
