JOB SUMMARY
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
The primary duty of this position is the breaking down and preparation of all incoming shipments to attain an optimized and streamlined process of receiving. This duty will be carried out by way of the following:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in opening and processing each days incoming shipments received from UPS, USPS, Truck, or Delivery
Review notes on all PO/Bids to determine any special instructions for Breakdown or Receiving staff
Determine value and correct condition of all items, note changes if any
Sort like items by condition, manufacturer and/or part number into bins for receiving
Scrap items of no value during sort
Photograph items being scrapped
Research sales history and approve part numbers, pricing and valid descriptions when necessary
Test various items where required
Label bins with proper information as far as contents and link to a PO/Bid number accordingly.
Disassemble units as directed.
Process completed items through proper routing procedures.
Assist in maintaining the log of submitted items for Pre-Eval.
Assist in pulling of un-received items for sales orders



Duties may be modified from time to time. Additional duties may also be assigned.


MEASUREMENTS/METRICS

Landing and processing that days incoming delivered work
Example: 40 boxes UPS and 10 pallets of freight. Max per 8 hour shift, Example: 20 boxes UPS and 5 pallets of freight. Max per 4 - 6 hour shift
(whichever can be satisfied by type of work delivered to us by vendors)
Processing errors will be recorded in Management Reporting System

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical school or equivalent preferred



PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Reaching/lifting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling


Frequent walking, hand truck and/or pallet jack use
Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
Constant moving of pallets and/or bins




Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds and continuous lifting of up

to 10 pounds


BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

Each member of the Breakdown team earns 4 points per broken down pallet and average 20 points per day
Total number of broken down pallets are calculated and paid out on a monthly basis

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

Introductory Review - Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
Quarterly reviews Employee will be given a brief written quarterly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
Annual Reviews Monthly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.



WORK SCHEDULE
This is an hourly position. Fulltime employees are required to work from 7:00AM 4:00PM. Part-time employees are required to work their assigned shift of 4 to 5 hours between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is a plant and inventory setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in a plant and inventory setting. All employees are required to wear Radwear (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe hard-soled shoes must be worn. Safety shoes are recommended. Company provided hard hats must be worn in certain areas. Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times. Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).
