Overview:

The CORT Centralized Dispatch Team oversees the Route Planning and Dispatch Management for many of its nationwide district operations. The Dispatch Manager take a hands-on approach to management and oversees a team of Dispatchers. A Dispatcher typically supports up to 20 - 30 Delivery Managers (Drivers) and Delivery Assistants. Dispatchers are responsible for setting the daily route plan and supporting activity from the time the truck team departs their local warehouse until they return at the end of their day. Success comes from effectively monitoring each trucks progress, troubleshooting any issues, and communicating with internal and external customers. In addition to maximizing the stops per truck and the on-time percentage, we strive to provide the perfect customer experience with each custome



CORT is seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager who can help us scale our small team from a regional to national operation. Initially, the role will serve as a working manager with both management and hands-on dispatch responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for those interested in having a direct impact on a growing department within an established company.



This is an on-site position, performed from the CORT office in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities:

Manages and coordinates the dispatch staff to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the routing and dispatch management processes.
Oversees the daily activities of each dispatcher and sets the schedule and assignments for the department.
Collaborates with other departments to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Ensures timely communication and issue resolution consistent with company values.
Manages complaints and mediates challenges that may arise.
Optimizes available resources, evaluates service quality, and provides recommendations to management so that action plans can be developed to continuously improve performance, profit, and customer service.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
5-7 years of customer service preferred
Management experience required
Experience in High Volume Call Centers preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook required
Ability to multitask is a must
Speak fluent English
Bilingual experience a plus

Scaling from a regional to a national operation

Onboarding experience
Change Management experience

Excels at building a gold standard through standardization and process improvement, as well as Service Level Agreements
Building long-term roadmaps
Managing to, achieiving, and celebrating KPIs
