Responsibilities


The Supervisor, Inventory Planner is responsible for maintaining proper inventory to fulfill SKU level demand requirements at a Liberty Production Center. This includes the following: fulfilling daily inventory requirements for Production and Supply Planning, provide raw material support to other PCs, meet Internal Control requirements and maintain ongoing communication with Vendors.


Responsibilities:


Maintain proper raw material inventory levels for assigned PC utilizing Excel and SAP, achieving stock objectives.
Create STO loads to avoid OOS at other PCs.
Work with the Planning teams to support the rollout of new products, promotional packaging, and holiday inventory products.
Participate in the weekly review of the production planning schedule.
Ensure all production personnel are aware of all promotions and raw material cost saving initiatives.
Discuss inventory yield variances with Production Management.
Hire/Train/Develop Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
Manage weekly physical inventory and reconciliation.
Utilize SAP to create POs, GRs, and to post inventory.
Review/research status of Open Purchase Orders & Inter-branch Transfers.
Create spreadsheets using advanced Excel skills and SAP to track and determine demand by raw material sku.
Utilize Excel and SAP to forecast future raw material demand.
Lead Year-end raw material balance review with Outside Auditors.
Ensure compliance with all Internal Control requirements in regard to safeguarding company assets and timely payment of vendors.
Communicate and build strong relationships with suppliers/vendors.






Qualifications



Bachelors degree (Business Administration/Management, or equivalent) preferred.
3 to 5 years previous production inventory planning, or analytical experience.
Must have strong analytical skills and understand Mathematical concepts.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft office.
Must have knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
