The Inventory Control Pool Point Manager interacts with individuals at many levels of the organization and will work both independently and in conjunction with other internal and external stakeholders to drive accountability and improvement, including but not limited to, in transit and damaged inventory. Manage the group mailbox for the reporting of damaged product at the Pool Points. Provide guidance and direction to the Inventory Control Pool Point Analyst on tracking, reporting and identification of root causes and implementation of corrective actions. Performs onsite audits of the Pool Points focused on the identification and causes of damaged product in efforts to reduce damages while ensuring proper disposition of damaged inventory and processing of any applicable inventory adjustments Communicates directly with our DCs, Pool Points and Stores any issues or areas of concern noted during audits or as directed by Inventory Control, Asset Protection or Shortage Control. Actively supports initiatives, projects, and strategies with focus on on-going performance improvement. Provides leadership, coaching and training to the Inventory Control Pool Point Analyst, Operations, Pool Points and Stores where necessary to support objectives and initiatives.

Build strong partnerships with Transportation, Pool Points, Inventory Control, DC Operations, Store Operations, Finance, Asset Protection, Shortage Control, Merchants, etc. to secure support, implement recommendations in a fast-paced environment, and drive best-in-class operational execution consistently across all locations.
Provide direction and oversight of the group mailbox for the reporting, disposition and accounting of damaged product identified by the Pool Points
Ensure SLA is followed to promote timely movement and disposition of inventory from the Pool Points to the stores
Review and approve all financial adjustments for Pool Point damaged product to ensure inventory accuracy across multiple systems including WMS, RMS and Stores:
Coordinate efforts with the Outbound Transportation and Logistics Director to ensure operational accountability at the Pool Points
Perform periodic audits at Pool Points to monitor compliance with established SOPs while reviewing existing SOPs for adequacy and completeness.
Perform onsite inspection of damaged product and validation of disposal/destruction methods at the Pool Points
Develops and Implements standard methodologies, processes, tools, and reporting metrics for transit areas including Pool Point damages
Actively pursues issue resolution, and communicates project status/issues to the appropriate functional area(s) management
Tests, Creates/Updates, Implements system generated reporting as needed
Communicate and research In transit, Pool Point and Store Damages to determine root cause and further corrective action to reduce damages identified at the Pool Points / Stores
Assist with the onboarding of new Pool Points and the disposition of inventory at Pool Points being phased out
Explores opportunities for improving the speed to market and timely handling of exceptions at the Pool Points
Assist in providing, validating, or performing follow up on areas of interest identified by Inventory Control, Asset Protection and/or Shortage Control
Ensure proper in transit inventory movement and accountability during natural disasters or other events creating the need to re-route, delay or otherwise cause delivery issues for the stores
Engage with appropriate levels of the organization to identify opportunities to leverage best business practices.
Develop staff through alignment on critical organizational initiatives.
Develop and communicate plans and expectations for the area.
Monitor and provide continual feedback to associates regarding job performance through coaching and counseling.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree withMinimum3-5years of Transportation and Logistics and/or Supply Chain related experience
