Dispatcher
Family owned and operated company located in Philadelphia is looking for a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher will responsible for monitoring the movement of Trucks and Heavy Equipment to and from various locations. The Dispatcher will be responsible for taking orders, and obtaining the necessary permits from the state in order for those trucks to leave our site.
Essential Functions of the position:
· PA Department of Transportation permit experience is required
· Knowledge of heavy duty trucks and heavy construction equipment
· Knowledge of dispatching Heavy Trucks
· Knowledge of taking orders and scheduling in the system
· Knowledge of Truck and Ticketing system
· The ability to work in high pressure situations under tight deadlines
· Must have strong verbal and written communication
· Knowledge of the Southeastern PA area
Requirements:
· Basic computer knowledge
· PA Department of Transportation permits
· MSHA Regulations
· Aggregate products
· Excellent Customer Service
