A Dispatcher candidate must be highly dependable, service-minded, highly ethical and a team player. This is a great opportunity for any individual who can remain steadfast in a fast paced work setting. The candidate must have the ability to strategize, make split-second decisions, create a proactive environment and troubleshoot customer/driver situations. Our office setting is casual, however professional.
Job Requirements:
At least 1-2 years School Dispatching experience
Familiarity with: Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean County
Ability to communicate clear instructions to drivers as well as any issues to management and customer service
Accurately Dispatch -Schedule vehicles, drivers and aides on routes
Assist Fleet Manager to schedule vehicles to be removed from service for maintenance; track spare vehicles and assign properly
Customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask with attention to detail
Utilize a two -way radio and GPS and dispatching software and hardware to monitor operations of routes for accuracy / direct drivers through radio contact
Computer literacy and knowledge of software programs, i.e.Microsoft Office & Outlook
