Ride and Care Transportation is a small medical transportation company that provides service in the Burlington/Camden county areas. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients in wheelchairs and patients that can walk to and from medical appointments and other destinations in a safe and timely manner.You will provide assistance to patients as needed, and ensure that all necessary medical equipment is properly secured and transported. Responsibilities:
Transport patients in wheelchairs to and from medical appointments and other destinations as scheduled
Provide assistance to patients as needed, including helping them in and out of the vehicle and providing support with medical equipment and personal care
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are on hand
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations, and maintain a safe driving record
Communicate with dispatch and transportation coordinators as needed to report on the status of trips and any issues that may arise
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle preferred
Ability to lift and transport patients as needed
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
