Travel Requirements:
This position requires traveling throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Drives to designated facilities to pick up blood and specimens and delivers them to the respective location(s). Delivers supplies to designated facilities. Is fully responsible for assigned company vehicle.
Specimen Pick Up/Drop-off
Picks up blood and other specimens in designated facilities and delivers them to the respective location
Arrives at the facility at the designated time(s)
Verifies that no facilitys blood or specimens are missing, documenting on Route Tracking Form. To complete the Route Tracking Form (these logs will be kept by the transportation supervisor for future reference) as well as keep track on company phone.
Notifies a supervisor if any blood/specimen is missing so that correct measures can be taken to locate it and acquire specimen
Transfers the bags from the refrigerator at the ECF to a cooler and delivers it to the laboratory as quickly as possible
Informs accessioning personnel when blood has been delivered.
Maintains cooler with frozen ice packs as needed.
Requirements
Education / Experience : Any one of the following will be considered:
Requires High School Degree or GED
Valid drivers license.
Clean driving record, free of violations and points is essential.
All restrictions to drivers license (corrective lenses) must be adhered to.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
