The Maintenance Clerk/Purchasing Coordinator shall report directly into the Maintenance Supervisor or Facility Manager and shall plan and coordinate the preventative maintenance, supply orders, and vendor repairs of all process/utility equipment and buildings throughout the SB facility. Establish and maintain all CMMS data elements and information integrity. Procures all MRO material and equipment and coordinates all stock room activities and parts inventory controls. Candidate must possess a strong facility and process Maintenance background and understand the requirements of a food based GMP facility. The Clerk must also be capable of minor repairs, such as changing filters, during times when mechanics are not available. There will likely be an 80%/20% split between time spent in the office, and time spent in the plant doing minor maintenance jobs.
Candidate shall also have excellence computer, SAP, CMMS and procurement skills. Candidate shall negotiate the cost of all day to day procurements as well as assigned annual service contracts within the guidelines of IFFs competitive bidding procedures. Candidate shall coordinate, maintain, execute and report on the PSM and NJ State Mechanical Integrity Programs.
You will spend your time

Planning all PM work and coordinating its execution with the Maintenance Supervisor, Production and Planning departments.
MRO procurement agent, working with purchasing coordinator to negotiate assigned annual service contracts as well as day to day purchases, operates the stock room and maintains economic level of consumable as well as critical spare parts inventory, and coordinates critical machinery offsite PM requirements.
Coordinating, maintaining, executing and providing monthly status reports for the PSM and NJ State Mechanical Integrity Programs.
Entering all newly purchased equipment in the CMMS and establishes PM frequency schedule and coordinates PM executions.
Assisting mechanics by identifying and eliminating obstacles affecting timely repair and Maintenance of all plant equipment.
Recurring training, safety meetings, PSM job task analysis.

Required Experience:

High School Diploma supplemented by trade school continued education.
CMMS, MRO procurement and excellent computer skills
Strong mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and automation knowledge
Strong organizational and communication skills
