SUMMARY
Work as an active team member of the department adhering to all rules and policies while striving to improve inventory accuracy and order on time delivery to meet our customers demand.
Inventory:
Cycle count inventory for accuracy and investigate variances as assigned.
Responsible for daily inventory picking, transferring and put away activities.
Must maintain, organize, clean and ensure FIFO of all inventory areas on a daily basis.
Must have computer skills and utilize handheld devices as required.
Routers: Using hand held computers
Desk Computers
Helping in any a dept is required doing AS items, RGA items
Keep the facility clean, per CGMP requirements
Straightening out items on shelves and box locations
Additional tasks assigned by supervisor
Positive proactive attitude
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cycle count
Post pack
Negative and positive count
Routers: Using hand held computers
Desk Computers
Helping in any a dept is required doing AS items, RGA items
Keep the facility clean, per CGMP requirements
Straightening out items on shelves and box locations
Additional tasks assigned by supervisor
Positive proactive attitude
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
Strong attention to detail;
Must be team player as department works together as 1 team;
Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills;
Ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible and meet deadlines;
Ability on daily basis to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds;
Knowledge of industry products and services a plus;
Fluent in English written and oral skills required
Demonstrated Can-Do attitude, Customer Service Focus and Trustworthiness
Work Schedule:
Must be flexible on work schedule, occasional working past 7:00 pm.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent
1- 2 years related experience or training preferred
Previous Experience and/or permit for operation of forklifts preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Experience with Oracle is highly preferred
College degree preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
This position requires to have Forklift certification, HAZWOPER Training may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must have the ability on a daily basis to lift and move up to 70 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
