Tasks in Stockroom As assigned by Continuous Improvement / Materials Specialist: Picking shop orders; put away receiving; aisle walks; cycle counts; data entry in ERP; investigate issues; record keeping; general housekeeping
Operation of reel counter; counting scale; cable reeling/cutting station; cable length meter
Maintain a safe, orderly, professional stockroom
Support Inventory including planning, preparation and on-site physical count
Comply with Mistras ISO Quality Maintenance System
Perform other tasks as required to support the Materials Manager, Continuous Improvement / Materials Specialist, and Production
High school diploma or GED
Detail-oriented; organized; ability to work accurately and calmly in fast-paced environment;
Communicate clearly and respectfully in all situations.
Familiar with Microsoft Outlook; Word; Excel
Experience using an ERP System preferably IFS.
Stockroom or inventory control experience preferred
Ability to work overtime as required by business activities including Physical Inventory
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand for a duration of 8 hours at times
Ability to use step stool and rolling step ladder
