The Buyer/Planner role is responsible for purchasing and planning of Ford powertrain and ancillary products to support sales. They will work closely with Sales, Accounting, and Operations departments to adjust and maintain proper inventory levels across the seven warehouse and to maintain the accuracy of the product information within AX. They will also work with Accounting and Operations to issue purchase orders for items for general business needs.
What will you do?

Runs sales report and issues purchase orders to suppliers and internal customers
Ensure accurate pricing of all Ford Inventory
Tracks and expedites purchase orders as required, including monitoring backorder statuses
Ensure the timely delivery of components and other materials through order confirmations
Analyzes sales data and controls appropriate inventory levels at each warehouse to support sales
Manage daily/monthly price and part number updates
Utilize OEM ordering platforms
Analyze aging and slow moving inventory, prepare and coordinate Ford Popp return
Familiarity in Ford programs, incentives, and ordering platforms
Manage Ford NPN and Emergency orders
Monitor client specific inventory levels
Other duties as assigned by the Sales Support Supervisor

Education and/or Training:

BS/BA in Business or Supply Chain Management or relevant work experience
Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft AX)
