How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As part of Procurement at Airgas, the team works hand-in-hand with key stakeholders across the business, leveraging a variety of tools to provide actionable data-driven insights to our internal customers to help drive efficiencies. The Procurement Analyst role will be key in supporting procurement initiatives and analytical reporting, This role will support accurate data preparation, aiding in process mapping, compliance reporting, troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis. Individuals must be an independent thinker capable of creating solutions, summarizing data conclusions, and a problem solver.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




Support all stages of procurement projects during the design, development, and implementation of the finalized product



Responsible for Data extraction, preparation and summarization from various sources



Provide and interpret analysis of purchasing, operational, and financial data




Spend and Total Cost of Ownership analysis/Data Mining



Trend and Forecasting analysis



Root Cause analysis




Create audit process for data preparation and compliance to various procurement initiatives



Track efficiencies with programs and compliance on a monthly basis



Troubleshoot issues to determine if the root cause is process, transactional, data collection or master data related



In accordance with data governance, maintain audit logs for validation and used for troubleshooting support calls



Identify gaps and work with designated stakeholders to address the situation to drive resolution



Communicate with stakeholders and prepare presentation documents to present analytical results



Makes recommendations on process improvements



Maintain strong lines of communication with Procurement Project Manager, business units, key customer groups, and other relevant departments

Are you a MATCH?





Minimum of 2 years in an analytical role preferably in Supply Chain Management/Procurement/Purchasing or finance



Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science related field



Possesses ability to synthesize information quickly and summarize conclusions and recommendations to drive a solution





Self-starter that can easily adapt to multiple systems and apply core critical thinking skills to access any issues while determining the root cause analysis





Prepares presentation documents and assists in presenting to all levels of management



Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to collect and correlate information and data



Experience in SAP data extractions or related ERP



Advanced MS Excel Google Sheets and Access skills are required



Database understanding, table joins and queries



Solid written and verbal communication skills



Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines even when competing priorities arise



Provides clear communication to stakeholders with a customer service approach



Possesses ability to synthesize information quickly and summarize conclusions and recommendations
