Cage Wash:
Preparing and sanitizing racks
Operating high pressure hot water washer
Work with a variety of chemicals for sanitation of lab equipment
Assessing racks thoroughly during sanitation process for any maintenance required
Washing glassware, feeders, etc. as required
Ability to safely wear a respirator required
Operation and use of Edstrom systems/chlorine injection system to flush racks
General Maintenance:
Assist with janitorial tasks of the laboratory area on regularly scheduled basis
Use and operation of industrial floor scrubber to clean vivarium floors weekly
Preform maintenance on racks as needed
Assist with maintenance of facility
Other:
Other duties as assigned by the Technician Group Supervisor or Study Directors.
Understand and follow appropriate SOPs, safety procedures, and quality assurance guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
