Summer Meals Program Administrator

Department: Programs and Services
Reports to: Senior Manager, Direct Service Programs
Overview
The Summer Meals Program Administrator assists in implementation and daily operation of the Food Bank of South Jerseys Summer Meals programs, as well as growth and coordination of Summer Meals Program Sites including site monitoring, training, and compliance.
This is a full-time, in-person, temporary position beginning May 1 and continuing through September 8, 2023. The pay rate is $20/hr. Work days are Monday Friday, approximate hours 8AM 4PM. Unpaid time-off requests evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Specific Responsibilities
Site Management & Communications:

Prepare materials and manage communications for and with program sites
Weekly follow up for collection of universal form
Helping recruiting sites
Monitor Summer Meals sites to ensure compliance with SFSP food safety and meal reporting as needed
Follow up on corrective actions

Mobile Café:

Increase participation by networking in communities where Mobile Meals have distribution sites
Suggest and implement improvements for site distribution and increased participation
Manage outreach and communications for Mobile Summer Meals
Daily scheduling of summer meals associates making sure that all routes are covered

Record/File Management:

Create SFSP (SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM) site packets with complete relevant documentation
Create sites file folders to be kept at the FBSJ (you are the custodian of all site folders)
Daily reimbursement tool data entry into spreadsheet
Audit review preparations (this is an ongoing where all documents for sites that have ended the program should be readily available for SFSP program)

Program Support:

Assist Childrens program coordinator with identifying coverage gaps
Assist in training summer meals associates

Requirements:

Valid drivers license and 2 years of driving experience
Excellent customer service skills
