The Occupational Training Center (O.T.C.) is a private non-profit corporation that proudly offers diversified vocational rehabilitation and job placement programs for adults with disabilities in Burlington County, New Jersey.
For over five decades, the mission of O.T.C. is to assist individuals with disabilities in reaching their highest potential by training them in a variety of vocational disciplines, providing employment opportunities, and preparing them for success in work as well and personal lives through adult day care and residential services.
The OTC is searching for Day Program Technicians for our Community Access Centers
Job Description:

Carry out assigned programs in the areas of physical care, recreational activities, self help, social training, pre-vocational training, community inclusion programming, and the development of functional and cognitive skills.
Organize assigned work tasks, and the development of effective work methods.
Facilitate appropriate programming in areas of personal awareness, practical arts and habilitation activities.
Provide responsible community based activities to provide consumers with opportunities to develop interpersonal and social awareness skills.
Maintain an awareness of the needs of the individuals with disabilities, and immediately report any related concerns or emergencies directly to the supervisor.
Assist individuals served with daily needs.
Responsibility includes full compliance with Danielles Law.
Transport individuals with disabilities to and from residence and various community outings.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age required eighteen (18).
Acceptable Background Check and Drug Testing.
Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
The successful completion of all DDD required training as defined in the DDD SE/DP manual and compliance with all applicable standards as set forth in the manual upon the date of hire.
Duties include lifting and bending.
Individual punctuality and attendance are key elements of this job due to the direct care of individuals with disabilities.
Ability to perform CPR and First Aid on ground level.
Must have Covid vaccination

Job Type: Full-time
