We are seeking a Billing Specialist for a non-profit organization in Cherry Hill, NJ to be responsible for the billing activities for all services provided.
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ on a HYBRID schedule
Pay: $45,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently bill all services provided
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contract requirements
Review and resolve billing issues and discrepancies
Work with program staff to ensure necessary documentation is in place for billing
Assist with monthly and year-end billing reconciliations
Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and government agencies regarding billing and payment inquiries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree preferred
2+ years of experience in billing or related field
Experience with Medicaid and Medicare billing
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus
