Overview:
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of Field Support Specialist to join our growing Corporate Team in Bensalem, PA!
This hybrid position reports to the Corporate Dining Manager and collaborates with other corporate office team personnel, field-based operators as well as numerous vendor/supplier partners. The Field Support Specialist provides a wide range of support to our field-based operations team across a national footprint. The expectation is that this individual will act as a liaison between the field operations team and our vendor partners in resolving issues in a timely manner, ensuring operator satisfaction along with supplier continuity and performance. The position requires the ability to understand and manage information across multiple programs in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
Position Summary

Receives, reviews and responds to a high volume of internal service calls and helpdesk emails and gathers information to help resolve issues
Assists in the assignment of program suppliers to new/transitioned business.
Provides direction to the procurement platform team regarding order guide assignments
Works closely with the vendor activation team and vendors to escalate and resolve open items
Helps identify and resolve vendor supply, product, and service issues related challenges in accordance with established business rules
Contacts field operations team members and vendors to gather or provide information and direction
Fosters business rule and dining program compliance in interactions with internal and external customers; provides education resources as appropriate
Assists in overseeing vendor performance and relationships at a local, regional and national level
Supports in maintaining on-going relationships with approved vendors and suppliers
Supports vendor set-up and integration activities for new client on-boarding
Prepares routine weekly and monthly reports summarizing service level trends and corrective actions
Provides continuous process improvement recommendations to improve overall client and customer satisfaction
Creates and continually updates internal vendor resource materials for the dining intranet site
Creates and/or compiles ad hoc reports completely, accurately and in good form
Compiles and reports relevant vendor performance KPIs on a monthly basis
Serves as a valued team member on cross-departmental collaboration projects and initiatives related to supply chain
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in business administration or relevant equivalent experience
2 to 3 years customer service experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry preferred
Experience presenting and interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications; expertise in Excel a plus
Solid problem solving skills; ability to think quickly, critically and strategically
Self- motivated with the ability to work independently and adjust priorities to meet deadlines
High level interpersonal, written and speaking skills to communicate and interact effectively with colleagues, vendors and other stakeholders
Active listening skills with ability to interpret information and garner feedback to ensure clear communication of information
Willingness to continually develop and maintain healthcare industry knowledge
