Overview:
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of Data Analyst- Dining Services to join our growing Corporate Team in Bensalem, PA!
This hybrid position reports to the Corporate Dining Manager and collaborates with other corporate office teams and field-based operators as well as numerous vendor/supplier partners. The Data Analyst position provides a wide range of analysis across various aspects of the dining program including, menu costing, vendor/supplier administration, product costs, and vendor rebates. The expectation is that this individual will be analyzing and reporting on information critical to business insights and decision-making.



Position Summary


Serve as the in-house expert for Dining Services menu pricing tools; assist in developing and improving new and existing pricing tools
Prepare monthly menu cost and trend reporting for multiple stakeholders, including the operations, sales and finance teams
Analyze real time and historical pricing data, providing clear and timely data and visualization reporting to the dining leadership team
Perform analytics on pricing scenarios and present pros and cons
Collaborate with third-party order guide managers and provide support and required reporting
Prepare routine weekly, monthly and annual compliance and audit reports
Conduct product forecasting analytics in accordance with program initiatives
Maintain the dining services vendor contract tracking system
Review and summarize supplier stocking, fill rate and substitution reporting
Analyze and audit rebate reporting packages provided by third-parties against plan and other benchmarks; identify and report opportunities to maximize programs
Create and/or compile ad hoc reports completely, accurately and in good form
Compile and report relevant industry data related to food and product categories on a monthly basis
Serve as a valued team member on cross-departmental collaboration projects and initiatives

Qualifications



Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer science, purchasing or relevant equivalent experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years increasingly responsible analyst experience
Strong analytical skills and technology aptitude; previous experience in the food service industry preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office application with expertise in Excel
Deep understanding of spreadsheet/reporting manipulation, including pivot tables and functions is a must; experience with analyzing large data sets and building data models a plus
Solid problem solving skills; ability to think quickly, critically and strategically
Ability to learn and master new software programs
Proficient at gathering, cleaning, modeling, interpreting and presenting relevant data
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adjust priorities to meet deadlines and focus on the most important business issues
Effective written and speaking skills to communication with colleagues, related departments and other stakeholders
Willingness to continually develop and maintain food service and healthcare industry knowledge
