The Office of Advancement Services is seeking candidates for CRM System Administrator role.

This role will be primarily responsible for providing data management of the alumni, student, and donor database - The Raisers Edge/NXT. The incumbent will be the primary person performing system updates and providing technical expertise in integration with external platforms. The CRM Administrator will oversee and manage the entire database and gift administration process, establish business rules and ensure data accuracy in preparation for the weekly post to the general ledger. This person will also respond to inquiries for reporting needs such as alumni, event, and TCNJ mailing lists, gift summaries, and financial reports.

Main Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, validate and format .csv files in preparation for data imports.
Maintain all donor files for accurate historical representation of existing relationships.
Proactively identify opportunities for systems and workflow improvements, recognize issues, and provide recommended solutions.
Prepare all management and campaign reports for TCNJ leadership and Development staff.
Pull, update, and code mailing lists for the semi-annual magazine distribution as well as direct mail and segmented Department and Group appeals. Request student, parent, and employee data and prepare for import into Raiser's Edge.
Train and update Raisers Edge users on new/updated software features and convene with Advancement staff to establish reporting needs for scheduled appeals, mailings, and events.
Manage system integration with crowdfunding, text to donate, and other external platforms.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum two years of experience in higher education or in non-profit setting managing databases and developing financial reports is required.
High proficiency with CRM databases. Strong preference is given to knowledge of or exposure to The Raisers Edge/NXT donor database system.
Intermediate to expert level of knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable creating VLOOKUP functions, pivot tables, macros, and similar formulas and functions.
Strong command of English and experience with translating technical information for front-line fundraisers and campus administrators.
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate level of understanding of IT - software implementation, integration, and troubleshooting.
Prior experience with data imports and CSV files.
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
