We are looking for:
A detail-oriented and social-media savvy communications and image archive manager to administer our social media accounts, deliver quarterly newsletters, and help create and maintain NCDCs digital media archive.
The ideal candidate for this part-time, fully remote position is someone who is highly organized and comfortable working independently.

Nichole Canuso Dance Company (NCDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit experimental performance company (founded 2004) making original work, performing, touring, and teaching. Led by Artistic Director Nichole Canuso, projects are developed through collaboration across disciplines with performers, designers, and musicians. Position Overview & Expectations:
We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills who is able to creatively express the scope of NCDCs projects and programs through social media, newsletters, and through image descriptions. As Communications & Image Archive Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest social media platforms, trends, and best practices.


The Communications & Social Media Manager will create images/graphics and text for posts on our existing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) 3 - 6 times per month (volume dependent upon performances, programming, and other public facing initiatives). You will also draft newsletters on a quarterly basis, with additional communications during the organizations annual appeal or other fundraising events, and in the lead up to performances or other programming.


NCDC is nearing 20 years of practice. We have many images, videos, interviews, and other media that needs to be organized and archived. You will work with NCDCs Company Manager on digital asset management, organizing program and project documentation (photography, audio files, and video) as well as generate image descriptions and alt text for photos and videos.


This position is part-time and works remotely.


Responsibilities
Design and implement a communications strategy and schedule with Artistic Director (AD) and Company Manager (CM)
Maintain content calendar and identify (in collaboration with AD and CM) key moments for storytelling and engagement
Collaborate with AD & CM to develop content and ensure timely postings and a balanced mix of content and messaging
Generate between 3 - 6 social media posts per month and 4 - 8 newsletters (annually)
Ensure consistent messaging in communications through tone, voice and terminology
Mainting NCDCs digital assets, which include oral history interviews, photographs, and other media
As needed, communicate with and coordinate cross-promotion of performances and programming with collaborators, partner organizations, venues, presenters, etc.


Requirements
Demonstrated work experience managing social media accounts and fluency in social media platforms & posting programs
Excellent communication and copywriting skills
Ability to generate creative digital content (text, images and video)
Must have personal computer
Familiarity with Constant Contact, Canva, Photoshop, Google Drive or similar softwares
An eye for design, photography, and visual aesthetics


Hours & Compensation
$25/hour
5 -7 hrs/week (flexible working hours but occasional 9-5 availability for meetings is ideal)
Position is fully remote
Start date is negotiable but hoping to start someone in late-April.
