Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities in the state of NJ.
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) uses best practices within a community-based setting to support our individuals to live as independently as possible. This individual must be able to efficiently conduct trainings in a public environment, exercise patience, work a flexible schedule, and respond to crisis situations effectively.
Requirements:

BCBA Certification from the state of employment required.
Masters Degree in behavioral analysis, psychology, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the development and implementation of behavioral support plans.
Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Supports.
Ability to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments.

Responsibilities:

One on One observation and interaction with consumers.
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyses.
Develop individualized prevention and treatment plans (goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitors progress towards goals.
Training of staff on implementation of plans.
Participate in Circle(s) of Support for personal future planning.
Prepare progress reports for consumer's immediate support group, including their family and/or guardian, staff, employment specialist, case manager, and other professionals.
Write and approve Behavior Plans for individuals in the supports program.
Support the behavior supports that the current behaviorists are giving.
Serve as an active member of each persons Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT).

Working Conditions:

Ability to lift 50 pounds (weight of average manual wheelchair when chair is empty)
Work will take place in the administrative office, community, and in the homes.
