Job Summary
General Overview:
The material handler is responsible for supplying all injection molding machines with the required raw materials to meet production demands and ensure the shift runs continuously and efficiently.
Job Description:
Review the previous shifts conditions
Review the set up requirements for the next 12 hrs
Establish the work day based on the priorities assigned by the shift Supervisor
Clean hoppers/dryers/grinders as required at the end of the jobs
Bring containers for runners and scrap product to the press
Load machines and/or fill containers with the appropriate materials as required
Fill the tag information for every container that has material in it
Fill the paperwork at the press every time the material is brought to or removed from the press
Fill the paperwork at the press every time the finished product is being removed
Fill the paperwork at the weight station every time the scrap is removed from the press
Straighten the material equipment as needed during the shift
Remove debris and purge material containers as required during the shift from the presses
Fill the maintenance request and report any damaged equipment to the supervisor
Load materials in the dryers for preparation of the next jobs to avoid delays
Other duties assigned by the supervisor
Responsibilities and Duties

Math skills
Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down fork truck
Time management skills
Mechanical aptitude
Hand tool experience

Qualifications and Skills
Previous Job experience as a Material Handler
Forklift, Sit down and Stand Up, experience
Inventory and Material management experience
Warehouse experience
Successfully pass drug screening
