A stable but growing manufacturing firm in the Branchburg, NJ area is currently seeking a Senior HR Manager. This role is fully on-site Monday-Friday. It is not hybrid or remote.
This manager will oversee all functions related to HR and will provide a wide range of hands-on HR support to management and employees. This role will manage a current team of two professionals and will be tasked with hiring another professional within the first three to six months of hire. This role carries out responsibilities in all aspects of human resources including employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, performance management, payroll, onboarding/offboarding, policy administration, legal compliance, recruiting, and safety.
Responsibilities to include:

Supervise, motivate, lead, and instruct the Human Resources Team
Maintain positive employee relations by being accessible - offer assistance, guidance and coaching as needed to management and employees
Manage the processing of payroll for all salaried and hourly employees
Manage new hire paperwork for all personnel to ensure it is accurate and timely
Handle or assist (as needed) in investigations and preparing summary reports
Comply with E-Verify and immigration (I-9) requirements
Manage the team/process to ensure accurate and up-to-date records in all personnel systems, (benefits, payroll, and timekeeping)
Partner with Management to ensure effective training and development of all employees
Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to human resources matters
Manage annual benefits open enrollment process
Perform all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field of study
5 to 10 years in a Human Resources role with at least 2 years in leadership
Self-motivated, results-driven professional who consistently delivers high-quality work
Experience with HRIS systems

An added bonus:

PHR or SPHR certification
Experience in both union and non-union environments
Experience with ADP
Experience serving in HR within a manufacturing environment
Fully bilingual English/Spanish

This role is a great fit for:

Someone whose experience is solely or mostly in recruiting or talent acquisition. Someone who is seeking remote or hybrid work.
Salary is $115-$125K BOE.

Pay: $117,137.00 - $125,000.00 per year
