The Doubletree by Hilton Princeton is in search of an experienced HR Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for applying human resources expertise to the hotel. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.
Administer employee policies
Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
Recruiting all levels of staff
Conduct employee orientation and training sessions
Conduct the onboarding process from recruitment to new hire paperwork
Complete weekly payroll
Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
Prepare termination and severance letters
Love organization, "owning" projects, coordinating, and getting things accomplished
Enjoy solving problems - you know how to think for yourself
Can manage multiple projects and deadlines at once... you prioritize and manage your day with ease
Must be a "people person" who communicates well
Possess excellent administrative skills
Have solid computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in HRIS systems
SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related discipline
Experience in HR
Expertise in HR policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of hiring processes
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
