Human Resources Manager
Full-Time
Bucks County non-profit seeks experienced individual in Human Resources. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties such as recruitment, compliance, recordkeeping, payroll, and benefits, and working closely with agency leadership in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The position will also play a valuable role in building effective relationships with all staff. The position involves significant teamwork and collaboration.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains and updates human resource policies and procedures in compliance with government and funder regulations
Manages recruitment, screening, hiring, onboarding and offboarding including exit interviews
Develops and maintains updated job descriptions
Audits and maintains employment and personnel records in compliance with PA regulations and policies, including completing forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
Processes and responds in a timely manner to UI and Workers compensation claims including record maintenance
Process biweekly payroll through electronic system
Serves as benefits administrator to employee benefits providers and coordinates open enrollment
Assists leadership with employee recognition and rewards, conflict resolution, and progressive corrective action practices as needed
Performs intake of employee relations issues and escalates accordingly to leadership
Executes creative strategies to advance the organizations diversity, equity, and inclusion goals
Coordinates events and activities focused on employee recognition and retention
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Performs clerical functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mail, and email

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or similar field
Must have 2 to 5 years experience of general human resources experience that demonstrates progressive responsibility, including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and diversity programs
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and review own work for accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to compose human resource documents and correspondence

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS:

Valid PA drivers license and vehicle
Ability to obtain FBI fingerprint clearances, PA criminal check clearance, and Child abuse clearance
Knowledge of HIPPA privacy regulations
SHRM-CP or PHR credential preferred but not required

STATUS: Full-time, exempt, benefits eligible position
COMPENSATION: $50,000 - $60,000
