The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Department in all aspects of human resources including but not limited to personnel file maintenance and retention, benefit administration, workmans compensation, unemployment compensation, recruiting, HRIS, resolution of some payroll issues. The Human Resources Coordinator would:



Be responsible for creating and maintaining employee Personnel files. Ensures that all necessary paperwork is obtained, complete and filed in a timely manner including regulatory/compliance paperwork and HR records (e.g., I-9s, health records, benefits paperwork, health information, performance reviews etc.).
Handle all support work including correspondence, reports, memos, excel spreadsheets; coordinates employee meetings and events sponsored by HR.
Compose and edits correspondence. Complete employment verification requests.
Reconcile and submit invoices to accounts payable.
Aid with recruiting including resume review, telephone screening, interview scheduling, job fairs, etc.
Coordinate the On-boarding process, assure all On-boarding requirements are met, schedule new hire orientation and community orientation, etc.
Organize community orientation for all new hires by setting up the meeting room and scheduling the managers. Conduct the facility tour and provide backup for the HR Manager if unavailable.
Assist with preparation of HR reports as needed, including downloading data from HRIS system into Excel spreadsheets. Generate standard and filtered reports from HRIS system.
Assist with annual open enrollment process - assist employees with enrollment concerns, set up meetings; ensure employee meets eligibility requirements and has provided dependent verification if needed.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Related Experience:


Minimum one year HR or customer service experience combined with one year general office experience.
Knowledge of employment principles, practices and employee relations a plus with demonstrated knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.



Education or Degree Requirement:


Minimum two year degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Bachelor's degree prefered.



Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:


PHR or SPHR preferred
