The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will have the opportunity to help support the delivery of HR excellence to the organization. They will carry out programs and processes in compliance, recruiting and staffing, benefits, training and development, and safety and wellness. Working alongside the entire HR team to execute projects and events is a key element of this position.
PARTIALLY REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance; this opportunity is a work from home role on a part-time, regularly scheduled basis. There will be in-person events required for this role, so the ideal person must reside within a commutable distance from our Headquarters in Pipersville, Bucks County, PA.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting and Staffing:

Create job postings, post jobs based on recruiting strategy established by designated recruiter for each position;
Conduct and coordinate applicant testing components, via online or in-person testing;
Conduct applicant tours of facilities during on-site interviews;
Reviewing benefit details and summaries with candidates during on-site interviews;
Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews, including travel arrangements for out-of-town candidates
Assist temporary Recruiters and hiring managers with internal recruiting processes;
Coordinate background-checking process, including drug/alcohol testing;
Verify eligibility for employment for all new hires using UltiPro onboarding process;
Audit temporary agency bills for accuracy and identify and insert correct pay codes;
Coordinating temporary staffing according to business need, maintaining and building relationships with various temporary agencies to ensure adequate staffing levels;
Create and send appropriate e-mail communications to unselected candidates;
Generate offer letters and send to selected candidate post verbal offer and non-competes;
Assist with new hire paperwork; prepare orientation tools and packets;

Compliance and Recordkeeping:

Maintain all personnel files in compliance with all applicable regulations;
Conduct periodic audits of personnel files to ensure that all required documents are located in files;
Maintain I-9 and new hire paperwork through UltiPros Onboarding Gateway
Ensure that required employment law posters are up-to-date and posted appropriately at each location.
Update internal compliance trackers such as Performance Warnings and Annual Review cycles

Training:

Coordinate training schedule and maintain modules for Tyndale Job Training Program through LMS
Maintain course modules and general support in LMS;
Coordinate Job Shadowing Program

Human Resource Management System:

Serve as back-up HR technical support resource for managers and employees with HRMS and time clock systems;
Maintain employee database information in HRMS;
Create and run reports from HRMS as requested.

Safety and Wellness:

Coordinate the weekly healthy snack food order, including delivery and distribution for both Pipersville, PA locations.

Employee Relations:

Coordinate annual Bring Your Child(ren) to Work Day;
Coordinate employee meetings such as communication meetings, benefit meetings, and management meetings, etc. as requested.
Coordinate special employee events in collaboration with other HR Department members;
Print TGSA certificates, deliver certificate and pin to appropriate manager, and maintain record of all TGSA nominations;
Populate employee performance reviews in HRMS, assisting with administration, and serving as technical resource to managers of performance management software.

Benefits Administration:

Coordinate annual open enrollment benefits employee communication meetings;
Assist HR Generalist(s) with coordination of annual employee wellness fair and other wellness initiative events and programs;
Coordinate bi-annual 401k employee communication meetings;
Create and mail FMLA paperwork to employees, as requested/needed.
Serve as first resource for FAQ regarding benefits, leave of absence and other HR policies and programs.

General Department Duties:

Order supplies;
Order employee flowers when hospitalized;
Prepare expense reports and credit card reconciliations for VP and HR department expenses;
Various other administrative support duties.

Special Projects:

Participate in special projects as assigned by the HR Director

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, I/O Psychology, or a related degree required. Prior internship or other experience in the field of human resources a plus, but not required. Prior experience with a HRMS is preferred, but not required;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Strong computer literacy is required; proficiency at the intermediate level in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel preferred;
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information is required;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Must have strong attention to detail;
Possess a sense of urgency, and has the ability to prioritize tasks;
Strong time management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks;
Should possess basic understanding and knowledge in human resources functional areas;
Must have ability to work effectively as part of a team and be collaborative;
Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
