Paragon Home Care is looking for Bilingual Spanish/English Human Resources (HR) Clerk to undertake a variety of HR duties. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.
Responsibilities

Performs daily human resources operations under supervision
Acts upon and assists with the thorough and impartial investigation of reported incidents concerning workplace harassment (sexual, ethnic, religious, etc.), discrimination, and/or other alleged illegal activities by employees
Prepares and processes employee related HR paperwork for functional area according to established procedures
Works with employees on LOA / FMLA needs
Initiates recruiting and hiring process for caregivers including processing applications, background screening, testing, interviewing, and reference validation
Orients and trains caregivers and maintains current caregiver files in accordance with policies and procedures
Records employee information such as personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, evaluations, and termination date and reason
Maintains employee personal and payroll data in the internal application
Understands and adheres to established Company policies and procedures
Performs continuing and on-going caregiver training
Understands and adheres to state and federal labor laws as they pertain to home care agencies
Participate in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agencys services

Skills

Bilingual Spanish/English
Proven experience as an HR clerk or relevant human resources/administrative position
Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
Strong ability in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel...)
Familiarity with social media recruiting
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle data with confidentiality
Good organizational and time management skills

Experience in home care or knowledge of the health care industry preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
