Job Description :
As a Product Owner, HR Technology- Workday Core HR, you will have an impact on NewsCorps implementation and use of HCM modules to solve complex business requirements. Our Product Owners work to understand our user base better internally and identify opportunities to optimize our user experience by creating scalable and intuitive processes within our HR technology portfolio. You will be directly involved in defining and aligning business requirements and prioritizing them in line with business priorities and utilizing the Agile methodology.
Job Description
If you have solid Workday HCM experience, then NewsCorps HR Technology team is looking for you. In your role as a Product Owner, you will:
Own the product vision of Core HCM module.
Lead the design and configuration of an optimal user experience for the Workday Business functions
Work with our HR & Technology Operations and Subject Matter Experts to set a strategy and a vision consistent with NewsCorps corporate priorities for our HR technology solutions.
You will collaborate across functions, divisions and geographies including but not limited to Business and HR Leadership, Corporate Stakeholders and Global HR Service Delivery teams to craft and design end-to-end solutions for positive Workday interactions
Own and communicate product vision for the Core HCM functions and define, recommend, prioritize, and implement solutions aligning to strategic goals
Actively identify opportunities to improve our HR processes through technology.
Understand both requested and non-requested needs, prioritize technology enhancement, and uncover opportunities for improvement and automation.
Actively identify opportunities to improve our HR processes through technology.
Be a conduit between the Business and IT teams to answer any questions or escalate issues as needed.
Lead the HRIS, HRIT teams and various cross-functional teams to ensure new platform functionalities and processes are properly tested and, where needed, documented.
Create and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs for products and services, including developing and prioritizing product proposals and user stories
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years validated experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in the HRIS space
5+ years of Proven hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience
5+ years of proven management experience which involves documenting business processes, procedures & workflows.
2+ years working with agile delivery teams
Experience of atleast two Workday HCM implementations
Experience supporting HR lines of business, and identifying areas of opportunity for technology improvement
Experience analyzing business/employee needs, current market trends, and HR Tech systems and designing exceptional user experiences.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
Proven experience in a dynamic product management role overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
Team worker, responsible and delivery-oriented
