POSITION SUMMARY U.S. Venture is adding a newly created role with our People Resources Operations team!
This position is responsible for the People Operations functions across our East Coast region. Individual will work to partner with divisional leaders to ensure strong relationship development and consultative support of their respective entrepreneurial business strategies. This position is integral in supporting the full life-cycle of the companys People programs, and which often serves as the basis in which the People Resource Team adds constant value to its internal customer groups and team members.
The ideal candidate will office onsite at one of our locations in Bordentown, NJ, Northborough, MA, Myerstown, PA and Hanover, MD.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the business and bring judgement in addressing critical enablers including required management decisions, resolution of work team interdependencies, and resource gaps
Work with the HRBPs, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition teams to identify People strategies that can be enhanced and transitioned into People Operations to further leverage the overall capabilities of the HR organization
Ensure HR policy governance and manage annual policy reviews
Serves as mentor to support direct reports in their professional development and in working through complex employee relations matters
Partners with the Companys HRIS Manager and other Regional HR Operations Directors in support and development of the People Resources Operational Excellence. Design and enhance processes focused on streamlining and creating an optimal team member experience.
Act as a consultant to managers and team members regarding policies, procedures and employee relations laws; investigate violations and recommend actions to be taken
Work with VP, HR Operations in any labor relations including negotiating, interpreting, and administering applicable union/labor collective bargaining agreements, monitoring compliance with agreements, administering grievance procedures, and participating in arbitration and building relations with Trade/Labor Unions as needed.
Manage centralized and remote operations team; ensure plans are developed and implemented to drive engagement, development, productivity and retention of team members company-wide
Develop processes that allow the operation to improve productivity and scale according to future demand

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources related field is required
Certification in Labor Relations Management or equivalent demonstrated experience
A minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience in the development and execution of a large-scale people management program that includes, but is not limited to recruiting, assessment, engagement, performance management, employee relations, compliance and, training and development function along with demonstrated experience and knowledge in human resources.
At least 3 years of working experience in a company with an established People Operations practice that goes beyond HR, knows best practices around engagement, culture and team member development.
Recognized experience in a trusted leadership role, with a work history of follow-through on commitments.
Demonstrated end to end experience with mediation and effective conflict resolution, facilitation, and consultation skills are required along with skills in fact-finding, analysis, problem-solving, and consulting to identify problems and recommend solutions
Proven track record in developing innovative strategies and have the ability to figure how any can be accomplished
Ability to build effective teams through goal setting, defining responsibilities, empowering team members, providing feedback, and adhering to deadlines
Must have experience in working with management to assess, identify and develop training and development initiatives, which align to company business goals and values.
Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive collaboration and be motivated by team success, capable of honing influencing and relationship building to optimize the outcomes of strategies.
Ability to challenge the thinking of business leaders and the HR community
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred:
Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or Law
