Overall Description:
We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to partner with our employees and leaders to achieve our purpose of using Smart Science to Improve Lives. This position is responsible for training, the talent management process including succession planning, the annual performance management process and coaching leaders and employees. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can influence people at all levels across the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Advise, coach and guideline managers in identifying learning and development (L&D) needs through job analysis, appraisals and regular consultation, and recommend a course of action. As a result, develop and deliver L&D solutions (1:1 and group delivery; virtual and in person). The L&D specialist will facilitate the majority on internal training programs. Responsible for the subsequent monitoring and reviewing of L&D solutions.
Responsible for advising on annual budget requirements for the learning and development function within the broader Regional HR department. They are specifically responsible for monitoring the costs of L&D activities.
Determine a 12-month training schedule for the region aligning with broader business objectives.
Build relationship with external training providers to ensure Croda offers to all employees the highest level of personal skills and management development available.
Advise, coach and guideline managers in resolving performance issues.
Lead the annual talent review and succession planning process in conjunction with the local HR Partners and functional leaders.
The L&D Specialist is required to communicate regularly within the organization at all levels. Communications involve telephone, virtual meetings, email, written work and presenting to groups.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelors degree preferred
7+ years in Learning and Development or related function
