Description:
The Learning and Organization Development Consultant is responsible for all phases of the learning and development cycle: needs assessment through evaluation, mainly focusing on leadership and professional development. The Consultant will plan, coordinate, and deliver company-wide solutions in areas including change management, leader and high potential development, and organizational and team effectiveness initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
. Cultivate strong working relationships across the organization.
. Act as a strategic partner to colleagues and operations partners throughout the
organization.
. Assess clients needs through the use of training and performance analysis tools.
. Develop course content and supporting job aids into appropriate media.
. Facilitate learning using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as
simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and interactive lectures,
including offering learning opportunities based on operational needs.
. Apply tools to measure learning solution effectiveness and its impact on
performance.
. Serve as Train the Trainer partner.
. Lead and/or participate on process improvements and project teams.
. Administer learning, talent and performance technologies including: build and
manage online learning curriculums, track/report learning and performance records,
and respond to user inquiries related learning solutions and assistance with the
technology.
. Serve as subject matter expert for organizational development initiatives, such as
onboarding and employee engagement.
Skills:
Instructional design
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, organizational development, adult learning, or similar
degree required.
. 5+ years of experience facilitating leadership and professional development
programs
. 5+ years of experience as organization development consultant
. Demonstrates intermediate facilitation skills, both in the classroom and virtual
environments.
. Demonstrates intermediate skills in all phases of instructional design/delivery
(ADDIE) and has working knowledge of CPLP or advanced degree or certification of
instructional design.
. Demonstrates working knowledge of e-learning development software and learning
management systems.
. Ability to manage projects across multiple teams and organize/prioritize work.
. Has a high level of attention to detail, quality, and results focus.
. Strong written and oral communication skills, experience in communicating
effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
