Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions (VWTS) is making big moves in 2023 and we have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Benefits Manager to join our team! This role will collaborate with leadership on benefit strategy and provide hands-on management/administration of the Benefits and Pension Programs for the North America (NAM) region, including Canada, US, and Caribbean Programs. You will be the key stakeholder for our regional Benefits Strategy and Administration in collaboration with the Global Compensation & Benefits Leader and the HR Shared Services Leader. Key Responsibilities:

Lead benefits annual enrollment processes including delegation to HR Shared Service team as necessary
Work on regulatory compliance matters, maintain contracts and summary plan documents.
Prepare analysis and materials for senior leadership, executive, and board meetings
Partner with business leaders and talent acquisition to develop and drive regional strategy on how to attract and retain talent. Own North Americas benefits strategy, research, and recommendations
Conduct benefits benchmarking against peers including participation in third party surveys
Monitor the changing legal and regulatory landscape and work with the Legal team to ensure adherence to government regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)
Monitor the benefits budget and reviews and approves related invoices
Strategically develop and deliver benefits training and communication for leaders and employees (including HRBPs, HR Managers, Generalists, and HR Shared Services team members.)
Oversee production and approvals of benefits communication materials
With the assistance of the Brokers of Record, provides day to day management of the benefit vendor relationships, escalating any issues to the HR Shared Services Leader and the Global Benefits and Compensation Leader, as necessary. Partner with Brokers, Vendors, External Benefits Counsel, and Finance team to ensure compliance and audit requests are met, including 5500 filings
Provide benefits training to HR Services and TA Teams
Completes and oversees special projects and initiatives


Core Requirements:

Bachelors degree in human resources, economics, health services or related field experience
8+ years related experience managing benefits for a multi-location employer
Excellent leadership skills and comfort working with and presenting to executive level stakeholders
Passion for environmental sustainability


Other Useful Skills & Abilities:

US & Canadian Benefits Management Experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills including creating Pivot tables and utilizing the V lookup feature is preferred
Experience Administering Benefits with an understanding of a variety of benefits plan designs
Basic understanding of payroll compliance
PHR certification is a plus!
