The Manager, Total Rewards manages the companys benefit programs, including group life and health insurance, ESOP and 401k plans and related programs. This position is also responsible for managing the implementation, communication and administration of compensation programs such as merit and incentives.
Responsibilities:

Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
Participates in benefits design process
Prepares internal employee communications regarding benefits programs and policies
Responsible for preparation of all federal filings and compliance reports including 5500s and HIPPA notices
Partners with our outside vendors to analyze and recommend modifications to existing benefit plans to improve services to employees in a cost effective manner
Monitors current employee benefit programs to ensure plans are meeting employee needs and company objectives and take corrective actions as necessary
Counsels and assists employees on matters relating to plan administration procedures and applicable company policies
Participates in the preparation, development, and implementation of annual and new benefit initiatives, programs, and policies
Keeps abreast of new legislation/regulations that impact benefit programs
Oversees Benefit Committee activities assuring participants are educated on benefit plan developments
Administers and facilitates annual merit increase process including requirements gathering, modeling, data preparation, process management, and communication; ensures HRBPs and merit task planners have adequate support throughout process
Responsible for annual short-term incentive plan development, analysis, and administration for both staff and management
Provides compensation expertise to management and HRBPs for assigned business units with respect to all compensation matters including salary management, compensation program administration and plan design, new hire and retention needs, and policies and procedures in support of strategic objectives
Develops strong partnerships with business leaders to proactively improve solutions to compensation situations that ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives
Collaborates and strategizes with HRBPs and business managers in maintaining organizational compensation structure and compensation related matters for their groups and business units
Conducts high-level analyses to design and develop compensation programs, such as market pricing execution, internal transfer and promotional dashboards, and cost-budget analyses
Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements
Advises managers and employees on the compliance requirements related to compensation policies and provides proper recommendations related to salary increases
Manages a team of Administrators and Analysts

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources/a related field or equivalent experience required
5 to 7 years progressive experience administering health and welfare programs and compensation
At least 3 years of experience administering qualified retirement plans
Advanced knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, Federal and State regulations
Knowledge of Federal, state, and local leave laws, specifically New Jersey, Arizona, and Missouri
Ability to uphold the highest level of confidentiality
Advanced skills in Word and Excel
Understanding of the regulatory and legal environment of benefits administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
Strong project management skills including planning and organizational skills required
Attentiveness to details and deadlines with ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Must possess professional and clear communication skills
