Delta Community Supports, Inc. (Delta) is seeking a strategic and customer focused team member to serve as the Training Manager. Reporting to the Training Director, this individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all training related matters, in addition to ensuring the professional delivery of training content to adult learners throughout the organization.

Position Summary
Provides training and coordination of mandatory requirements of employee competencies and certifications in accordance with state and company regulations. Supervises training staff, oversees recordkeeping of training documents and supports the functions of training for all employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages Trainer II, Trainer I, and part-time trainers who provide regulatory and professional development training such as CPR, Safety Training, management skills, etc.
Monitors and executes tasks for all employees to meet licensing and other regulations.
Creates and maintains training calendar and coordinates with department Subject Matter Experts to deliver specialized training as needed.
Schedules and coordinates all recurring training requirements to meet compliance standards.
In conjunction with other stakeholders, creates and delivers training for New Employee Orientation, First Aid, CPR, and any other training required by Delta.
Ensure Med-Practicums are completed for new employee orientation and annual requirements.
Designs and maintains new employee orientation training manual to include relevant policies, procedures, systems, and communication protocol.
Designs management training courses to develop leadership and communication skills.
Uses professional writing skills when communicating and developing training materials.
Researches best practices in the social services field to identify and/or develop training curriculum consistent with the companys core values and philosophy.
Administers online training through various online learning sites and tracks transcripts for reporting purposes.
Assists the department in assessing instructional effectiveness and determining the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
Serves as resource to program coordinators and managers to create learning strategies for employee continuous performance improvement
Participates in departmental needs assessments to identify skills and/or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
Assists Training Director (the Director) with development of training policies and procedures and new curriculum development.
Promotes continuous quality improvement of training programs by updating course curriculum to meet required guidelines.
Administers evaluation for all training and solicit input from participants, in order to continually meet Delta guidelines.
Serves as Administrator of LMS to build department course programs, track training and provide reports as requested.
Cooperates with company and regulatory agency personnel during inspections or investigations.
Provides training to a variety of audiences in a variety of locations, from working one-on-one with staff through a specific issue to facilitating a large seminar with a diverse audience.
Maintains positive affiliations with other progressive companies for the purpose of networking, identifying best practices, and promoting a learning organization.
Promotes and demonstrates ethical and professional conduct at all times ensuring employees conduct themselves in a similar manner.
Participates in the hiring and training of new training staff member(s).
Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as directed by the Director.
Maximizes the development of employees and effectively articulate the mission and values of Delta through positive and supportive communication.
Effectively communicates the companys vision, mission, core values and guiding support principles to support recipients, their families, employees, funding and accreditation agency personnel and the community.
Performs other such duties as may be assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred
Drivers license valid in their state of residence
Five to ten (5 - 10) years training experience in Human Services field. Appropriate additional experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements and vice versa. ·
Three to five (3-5) years of supervisory experience
ATD Certification preferred
